“East Oakland Now”— because it is long past time for parity in City resources, and because the continuing displacement of communities of color requires urgent action.

In 1984, Jackson founded Acts Full Gospel Church of God in Christ in Oakland, California with only 13 members. The church has grown to over 7,500 members and over 30 active ministries.
Since his founding of Acts Full Gospel, he has dedicated his life to the community.
